Overview Of How To Copy PS3 Games

The Internet is brimming with advice about how to burn PS3 games, and about how to dump PS3 games to hard drive. Depending on the kind of game copy software that you use and on other variables, there will be different types of steps to complete. Still, you can refer below for a basic outline of the main steps that you'll need to follow:

1. Use a PS3 Homebrew installer to prepare your console to use backup PS3 games

2. Track down and install a high quality game copy software program

3. Place the PS3 game that you want to copy into a PC with a DVD readable/burnable drive

4. Dump PS3 games to hard drive

5. Take the ISO images and dump them using a tool like PS3 SAK

6. Eject the game disc

7. Place a blank DVD disc into your PC

8. Rip the games from your hard drive to the blank DVD using a game copy software like Game Copy Pro

9. Test out the backup copy of your game in the PS3 that you've used the PS3 Homebrew on

10. Upon confirming that the copy works, pack away the original game for safekeeping

Before anyone posts further on this, note that dumping games is pointless as there is no way to play them, nor will there be for a looooong time. If ever.
