Non-vibration controller

I know, it is horrible. SONY decided not to put in the vibration on the sixaxis. I did not like the decision one bit.
The reason why I think they took it off is because if they did have the vibration, it would cause problems with the motion action on the sixaxis.
So what I am saying is, what do you think about not having vibration, and would you rather motion action or vibration? (cannot have both)

technically, there are 2 reasons why. This was announced a while back btw.
1- sony got sued for using the vibration technology and was forced to remove it.
2-as you said, it would interfere with control

Thank you for clearing that up.
It is still cool though, with the motion action.

I haven't really "played" the PS3 but it would be cool to have it. For example, when you are playing resident evil or something like that, you can feel the heart beat and get that feeling you know? Or playing Need for Speed, vibration while crashing. It is a neat effect.

personaly, i prefer vibration over tilting. Simply because the tilting sensor on the ps3 is a little glitchy right now. Call of duty (and other games) are laggy due to the tilting sensor.

for me motion is cooler than vibration... however having both would be a step closer to making the game even more "interactive"

The only due I saw was differrent were the graphics. Gameplay to me sucked horribly, same with the Sonic game that came out a while ago,
the gameplay sucked horribly. I could barely control Tails, he was flying everywhere, Sonic was just not meant to be on 3D.
I did like some of the games despite the fact that hardly any of the statistics of how good they were brought me on (gameplay, storyline, etc.) except
for graphics which was the only good part of the PS3. It looked good on my HD Plasma :)
So I took it back. Im just gonna stick with 360 and Wii.

Yeah, I hear that Sony is making another controller design.

If I happen to stumble upon that news article I will be sure to share it with you all.

*EDIT*

Here are the articles

Sony Lights up New Controller

Sony Patents LED Infused Motion Tracking Controller

Look out wii, Sony is bringing in the big guns.

I remember reading about this last year but here is a news article which should clear a few things up

Sony loses Dual Shock court battle.

So Immerson was payed 82 million for "damages" by Sony.

Sony forced to stop selling Dual Shock Controllers?

Now, they can't sell Dual Shock controllers, and had to stop making about 40 games because of the troubles with Immerson.

i know, its hurting eh? i want dual shock on PS3!!!! but o well. What i find strange is that immerson took 5 and 1/2 years to finally sue sony, lol. Atleast sony isnt the only one being sued. Nintendo got sued for using the numchuck design...lol
