Intro:
------

Vista shade is a flash application with the look and feel of Windows Vista for flash-enabled PSPs. It has a desktop inference with up to 15 icons. These support launching up to 15 different flash programs. Vista shade is entirely configurable, so you can have whatever programs you would like on your desktop. You can change your username, background, and userpicture. All of your program files should go in the 'vista' folder. This folder should contain 01.swf, 02.swf, etc. upto 15.swf. For each program you can have an icon 48x48. Just place your icon in the 'vista' folder with the name 01-15 in jpg format. You can also have hidden programs by omitting the icon. This app makes it easy to organise and launch your flash programs in a nice and neat, Vista themed, package.

Install:
--------

1. Connect your memorystick (no-duh)
2. Drag the contents of 'MS_ROOT' into your memorystick
3. Setup config file (see below)
4. Place icons and swf files into 'Vista' folder
5. Disconnect and browse to 'file:/vista.swf' and Bookmark if desired
6. If it loads correctly, Enjoy! If not, check your files again!

Configuration:
--------------

There are two ways to configure Vista shade. You can do it manually, which is described in detail below, or you can download the Vista shade configurator.

To configure manually, 'vista.ini' must be in the root of your memorystick. Open 'vista.ini' with your text editor. This file is pre-configured to the files included. The first thing you should see is '&status=1'. Leave this alone if you want it to load. The next thing should be '&nickname=*****' where ***** could be anything. Change ***** to whatever you want to be called. After this, there is '&wallpaper=#'. Change # to a number 1-9. Refer to 'wallpapers.jpg' to see what it will look like. '&userpic=#' is just like the wallpaper, only it can be 1-7. Preview them in 'userpics.jpg'. For each visible 'program', you can enter its name after '&txt[#]=' where # represents the program number. For hidden programs, don't enter any text for its title and don't put its icon in the 'Vista' folder. The icons tile vertically down so if you don't want an icon in a specific spot, take that into account and skip over its number.

Copyrights and permissions:
---------------------------

Personally, I dont care what you do with my program. This zip contains some files not written by me however, and you should respect the author's preferences. These are included for demonstration purposes only. Vista is copyright by Microsoft and please understand that this is only a clone in honor of Vista. Most of the images I used in Vista shade were edited from screenshots from my copy of Vista beta.
