How to Install

Installation is a very, very simple process. You must have about 7MBs of space to install iFind on your PSP (that isn't very big considering thats about 1-2 song(s) on your PSP only).

Before beginning, make sure you have:

- A PSP with FW 2.0 and over, Homebrew internet browsers will do too
- A USB to mini USB cable
- A computer running on OS X, Windows XP or any OS with USB support
- A MemoryStick DUO
- 2 minutes of your time

Lets Begin!

1. Turn on your PSP and computer and attach your USB cable where necessary
2. Set the PSP to USB mode
3. Open up your PSP's MemoryStick DUO
4. Unzip and copy and paste the iFind folder into \PSP\COMMON
5. Open up your browser and type FILE:\PSP\COMMON\iFIND\ENTRY.HTML
6. Bookmark this page and youre done, that's the last time you'll ever type in another ultra long file address!

How to use iFind

Open up iFind in your bookmarks and almost instantly iFind will load up, type your passkey, default passkey is "pass". When I loads up the new page, click browse to find your file to be opened up in your PSP, once that's done, you can choose how you want your file to be loaded; you can choose either to open it in the existing tab or in a new tab. iFind can only find files in the COMMON and PHOTO folder in your PSP, so make sure files that you want to open up, like flash files and other portals are in there. To play games and open applications simply click on either the games or applications icon and choose the file! To update iFind or get new themes, simply click on the Update icon and that will take you to the LiNK Centre. The Chatrooms are accessible from the Smiley icon. To browse the internet in iFind, click on the LiNK logo, to open a new tab in link simply click the numbered tabs on the bottom of the page. You must have WiFi internet for the LiNK Centre, Chatrooms and the Browser (if you're viewing live pages) and you must have flash enabled for some games and applications.

Changing the passkey

To change the passkey, simply open ENTRY.HTML with a text editor such as NotePad or TextEdit and find the word "pass", change that to whatever you want your passkey to be inside the quotations to whatever you want the password to be.

Removing the passkey protection feature

If you want to remove the password feature simply delete your existing iFind bookmark and make this your new bookmark, PSP:\PSP\COMMON\iFIND\INDEX.HTML into your browser and bookmark it.
