I'm surprised no one mentioned "True Lies" for the SNES. That Game Ruled!

Also, I've been playing Chrono Trigger for a while now and the story seems to be very lackluster.

No real depth at all. Just simple "You need to stop this bad future from happening so you need to go into the past to get a great weapon to travel to the future to beat this horribly generic evil-doer" stuff.

Oh! and any of the super star-wars games are awesome.

CT sucked donkey in storyline. I mean wow if you say THAT is a good storyline I can't imagine what is in your terms horrible.

CT Storyline:
Some random kid with spikey hair wakes up and is chosen to save the world from some evil emo porcupine who wants to destroy the world w/o ever giving a reason why and and it's up to you to team up with chicks who has big boobs or else everyone gets mad at you for not killing anything cause the villagers are lazy bums who won't even lift a pitchfork and try to kill one piece of monster after knowing the world is at stake. And of course it's not an RPG when at the end EVERYONE GOOD lives happily ever after in a perfect world.

Personally I thought the Biker Mice From Mars racer was absolutely awesome. Also if you can get ahold of it, dejap.zsnes.com translated Tales of Phantasia if your into RPG's, the translation is a little harsh but the game is great still.

A little off the topic but what do the endings mean like .smc or .fig, if you can just change them what purpose do they serve?

I hate to agree with Mailasg, but I don't play RPG's often, but Chrono Trigger is a GREAT game. I'm still not finished with it, but I'm far into it. I don't see how you think it can have such a weak story.
