please help

ok im sure this question has been asked a million times and trust me ive tried all the possible solutions and nothing seems to work so this is my final option.

so i have down loaded the pspbrew pack generator and selected snes genisis and nesterj emulators i click the generate button and everythig goes smooth it sends it to my psp i delete my game folder and add the one from the generator i find a castlevania rom for the snes and i unzip it and it has the neccasary smc ending and i put it it the correct rom folder i get my hopes up and go to my psp and then find the snes emu. on my psp and select it and just like that i am crushed by the 80023130 or wat ever generic game could not play error

if anybody has some advice or ideas on what im doing wrong i would be very thankful to know

also i know it isnt my firm ware i hvae good old 1.00

Our compiled homebrews aren't compatible with 1.00, you'll have to find a program that can merge the two eboot.s back together.

To upgrade to 1.50 I would just google it. Your bound to find a site that has it. I'm almost positive that www.psp-hacks.com has the 1.50 update. Just check out their downloads section.

Go here.... http://www.psp-hacks.com/downloads.php

At the top there is a list and if you click on FIRMWARE it'll bring you to the firmware section. I assume you have a japanese PSP so just download the japanese 1.50 dump and upgrade.

I'm also getting this same error, as many people I am sure, I'm pretty sure I have the v1.5 firmware, how can i check? and if I dont, what do I do with that 1.50 dump when i download it? There's two folders titled flash? Sorry guys I'm new to all this, any help is appreciated.
