Error 80020130 + Need firmware 1.50

Hi,

I've just got a JPN 1.00 PSP and tried the packgen-thingie, but every homebrew program I try exits with a 'The game could not be started. (80020130)' error message..... Have tried checking/unchecking the hide corrupted files checkbox but no luck. Please help. And yes I have read the newbie-sticky

Plus I need to know where I can find a 1.50 firmware update..... Don't have a wireless network connection.

Thanks

Soren

For those of you with 1.0, I have established a nice pack of emulators and homebrew which I can distribute to those who contact me via my MSN address ([email protected]). This will serve as a temporary Brew Pack until our official one supports version 1.0 firmware.

Found a firmware 1.5 update and have updated my PSP manually..... Wouldn't like a network update (would hate to got stuck with a 2.0 by mistake)..... + I think you have to have your PSP plugged in when you perform the update..... If your battery goes dead when updating you may turn your PSP into a vegetable I gather....... But thanks!!!

80020148 issues

I keep trying to put emulators, games, and that browser on my psp, but everytime i try to use it, it gives me error number 80020148. I don't know what i am doing wrong. is it because i have version 1.52?

dude..gecko, from firmware 1.51 and up, will not let you play homebrews and emus and other such. Sorry dude, if you do have 1.52 though, I suggest you go just go straight on and update your psp to 2.0, that's the only way to go now man.

sorry gecko :(

Like Portable said everything above 1.50 does not allow for homebrew currently.

My theory is this: no one has a reason to upgrade to 1.51, 1.52. 2.0 has alot of stuff so i expect alot of people to upgrade.... so more people will be hacking for that firmware. The catch is 2.0 is supposed to be ALOT more secure then 1.51,1.52. So its your gamble.

Is there no way to downgrade to 1.5 or 1.00?
