2.00 trouble

I downloaded 2.00 onto my memory stick in the Update folder inside the game folder but when i try and load it a message comes up that says "The game could not be started. (80020148)" Someone plz tell me what ive done wrong.....thanks.

Not sure what you did wrong, but when you do get 2.0 installed, please inform me on how you get videos on 2.0.

I'm not tryin to run any game or anything....just tryin to install the update. I tried games and apps earlier but they didnt work, so i decided to just get the 2.00 upgrade...and now its not working either.

hmm....try to deelte everything that is in your game folder except that 2.0 folder, and remember to have your charging adapter in when you're upgrading your firmware.

ok...its the only thing in the folder with the exception of the readme...and that stupid message keeps comming up.

Thats what it says to do on the site, read carefully and do it...but why do you want 2.0?!

Well Ive never used a 2.0 updates before but I have been told thatIf I click network update I will update to 2.0 so heres what u could do:

Requires a wireless rouder and a computer.Go to network settings.Get all the things u need from ur wireless rouder such as the wep key the ipp adrerss etc.For more info go to the psp manual.If ur still having troubhle pm me and il help u out.

Or one otehr way would be to install the 2.0 web browser.

i tried all that stuff...oh well...i dont know why i want 2.0....i couldnt get any of the games or apps to work so i just figured i'd upgrade

ok go to system at the far left on ur psp.then go to system settings.then go to system informatio and it should say sofware versio.Whats the number beside it?

no, it was 1.51 when i took it out of the box

no it could mean he bought one with 1.51 ok since u have 1.51 ur screwed.HOLD ON THERE IS HOPE!There is a way to downgrade, (ist not an official way tho) u go tot he store where u bought ur psp from and lie to the clerk or hu evers at the counter and spill lies in their face about somethings wrong with ur psp and uc an get a new one replaced!

But seriously there is no way to downgrade without cheating.
