Dscaler problem

My composite input works fine and i have my 360 hooked directly to my line in on my mobo. but I cant hear it while playing. I can hear it if i record then play it back tho. any suggestions?

I am not. its a Dscaler problem. the xbox is just a device im using dscaler with. the xbox works fine
