WiiBrew released a news post that states the following:
Nintendo has released another IOS and Shop Channel update. This adds the so-called "Korean IOSes" to all regions as well as a new Shop Channel which requires an updated IOS56.
Obviously, it blocks the Wii Homebrew channel! Don't update your Wii firmware if you still want to use it!

i'll add something to this, they also added many hidden updates which are in the backround to many IOS's that basicly remove homebrew hoever keep the system menu at the same 4.3

actually i just did a wii that i accidentally updated to new system menu i posted links that i used in the tutorial section
