Modchip or Another PSP method like

what do you PS3 users think:

Will there be a modchip for the PS3 or will there be a PSP method like (firmwares and hacks, and things that has to do with the HDD and being able to download games and play the PS3 games directly from/through the HDD)?

Well, much like the PSP, I think the PS3 will get both, we already have the expliot of firmware (the only problem is that you need to know the crazy 20 buttons combo before the PS3 turns on).

A modchip seems like the more effective answer IMO though.

There is such thing? How come I have never heard about it? Can you lend me your source as to where you got that information?
