Mice's PS3 Keep or Kill???

Wazzup

I got the PS3 I wanted the MGS version I got this kuz it still has PS2 backwards comp. It also got discontinued from Stores now because the new 80GB core is out $100 cheaper. I can still return this to get the core but I had some questions:

1.) Is it true that since the disc reader for this also has compatibility with the PS3 that it reads slower?
2.) Is there anything more special or more functional about the new core system?
3.) Does anyone have any clue on when the next type of PS3 will come out?
4.) Can I get that mail-in for 5 free blu-ray movies still for my PS3?

thx

What he said. I'm sure since God of War 3 is a big time game and it's from Sony that there will be a bundle with that, and some other games. I heard a long time from gamestop that there was gonna be a 120 GB PS3 but I haven't seen it yet. (That was months ago)

If you don't know this already you also get another game with your purchase. You can download pain for free by using the voucher code in that video manual that came with your mgs bundle. Hope you have fun playing MGS4 and MGO.

Pliskin's here! yay

Yeah I say that Pain thing... So is that actually a real game thing, it looked like a minigame, but it seems along the lines of some spin off GTA thing

Pliskin, do you know anything about the 5 blu ray movies?

PAIN is kind of like Crash mode in the Burnout series. There's a driving game with minigames where you make the driver fly out of the window too. PAIN is very similar to both of those. You basically launch a guy into a city-like area (some other areas too I believe) and see how much destruction you can cause by your limp, flying body. It's pretty funny and if love mayhem, you'll love it. You can get the rebate by looking if it is mentioned on your receipt. There's a selection of movies to pick. If I remember right, 5 sections with 3 movies in each. You pick one from each category and check it off. Then you send a photocopy of the receipt and the cut-out UPC code from the box to the place mentioned on the receipt. 2 months later, you'll get your Blu-Rays.

P.S. With my rebate I got:

Flight of the Phoenix
Full metal Jacket
SWAT
American Psycho
The Prestige

The only other movie I remember as an option was The Devil's Rejects.

What he said, only problem for me was I didn't like the movie selection (mostly have and watch them more than once).

Do other games do that too?

4gb! Nah the saved games are about 150 kb each. The file you're talking about is probably the data you install when you play. It's not usually that much. It ranges from a few hundred megs to 2GB.
