[Release] Straight to PS3 PKG / PSN Downloader

I created my own PKG installer. Input your PS3 FTP Server IP address and choose what you want it will be waiting for you on your PS3.
Features:
* Cross Platform (Windows, Linux, OSX) You just need the Java Runtime
* Downloads directly to your PS3 (no need to worry about transferring or not enough disk space on your PC)
* Auto generates PDB files
* Creates the correct folder structure (well it should :chinscrat)
* Shares PSN Link with Brewology.com for others to use as well (help the community effort). Check the repository of them @ http://ps3.brewology.com/psn/. Try clicking a PSN Link
*Tons of ideas to improve this (like threading). So your feedback is appreciated

update: we have already gone through a few iterations and some bug fixes. let me know if things break or you have more ideas! (another + side of being a web app).

Notes:

* Things to fix/add include: Threading, Multiple Downloads, Make it not ugly, Better categories on PSN link repos, A few more surprise… In all honesty there is a TON to do… just gotta find the time.
* I still don’t have a device I can use to jailbreak my PS3. So I have not got to test everything myself. As you find bugs please post them on the forum. I will get to fixing things ASAP.
* I would like to thank Shane (from ps3-hacks irc) aka Cypherous on our forum for helping me test.

it gives me a error when i press download. the error is "Error Downloading. Please check your information and try again. it.sauronsoftware.ftp4j.FTPException [code=502, message= Unimplemented or invalid command]"
i've already fill up all the boxes so i don't understand the error.

hmm thanks for the feedback vkrazzy. ill try reproducing.. can you send me the link to the one you are using?

I tested it and had no issues with the download or the install on the PS3. I tried the little big planet costumes. They downloaded and install fine, but don't show up in the game.

How about the full version of Echochrome for the Move controller?

I just want to say thanks and just a quick tip....if you guys can make a preview of PKG's in different categories...for example Full, Patch,Addones, and etc. So we can browse by "type" or category.

I grabbed a bunch of Full pkg files...They installed fine.
But when I go to run them, I get a warning to renew my license at PSN store.

So now I don't get the point of this app...

Its a nice app and was a pleasure to work with you in testing, for the time being its mostly from what i can tell a start for PSN access

This way you're not going to get banned by sony for going online as the PS3 itself never see's the PSN, the license issue is because of the DRM sony uses so you'll need someone to break that, and this is atleast a way for someone to download the pkg's to begin trying to reverse them and should work fine for any demo's as they won't require a license to play them.

Big shout to people helping to enable extra features for us

what about game add ons like map packs, costumes etc will i need a licence for them to work aswell?

Just a question i bought Chou Jigen Game Neptune and then the hack came out then i got the game a week later and was wondering will this allow me to get the free dlc for that game with out updating cuz i noticed the dlc wasn't in the pkg list and i know it was free dlc .

Disconnected

Qbert PSN link transfered to PS3 OK and installed. Reset PS3 normally went to play its a no go. Something about game type cannot be transfered must login to PSN account.

Pain how does one install main game? There is no Pain main game / install PSN Link all other pain links transfered OK to PS3. Thank you.

Ahh well, my Waninkoko patched hex already lets me install and run all the demos I care to run
(which is none cuz demos are LAME) If you want demos, just google "PSN links".

I was hoping this was a break-through and allowed full PSN games. Guess I'll have to wait...
