what kind of ftp username must type??????????
my ftp server does not give me username

By defautl it should say anonymous in the box leave it at that if you're using blackb0x FTP as an example.

FTP user name is: FTPD12345
No password
But is it the region of the patch or the region of where I live?

Hi every one. To everyone getting errors or failed downloads make sure you are using the Blackbox V1.2 ftp for PS3. I tested this and confirm it works.

what were you downloading?

Iv tried to download resistent 2 patch and it al work. I then installed the patch successefully, but when I started the game, it asked me to update the version 1,6. That I just updated.

When installing the patch, does it only install to the internal hdd or can it see the game is on the USB hdd?
When installing the patch, your not JB so Im not sure where the patch is put.

If its worth anything i get those errors in filezilla, its a bit random but mostly if i'm trying to copy folders from my PC, i think there might be an issue with folder creation as it can copy files fine if i create the needed folders without issue but only sometimes creates the folders itself

If every file you try to download is failing, you have to make sure your using the Blackbox v1.2 ftp server on the PS3. The old ps3 ftp server does not work! Im just trying to help.

just a new feature that i think would be good. I think it would be good to show the total download size before starting the download

Which you'll have to change the link to Update 1.05 since it's pointing to the address used by Updates 1.01 through 1.04.

ok i downloaded call of duty map pack 1
downloaded fine
installed fine (not on jb mode)
but when i go to the game the maps arnt there

so i geuss it dont work?

I haven't tried call of duty yet, I'm still trying to figure out Little Big Planet. I added the US region costumes and the downloaded and installed fine. They don't show in the game though. I am using US region LBP with the retail disk, not playing off of the hard drive. Can anyone else test these?

i also tried it with the orginal disc yet it dint work.
it just installs but dont show up

ive also tried a few others but they require psn auth

i think the only things that work are demos and themes
