[Release] Straight to PS3 PKG / PSN Downloader

I v tried downloading 4 patches and I can see them when I re start the PS3 without JB. Install works perfect but when I go into the game, it prompts me for the update. I think that this will only work with games installed on the internal hdd and not the USB hdd. can anybody else confirm this?

ive even tried games on the hard drive and of the orginal disc

but no luck

i was thinking of downloaded something
eg
call of duty world at war map pack
then get it off my hard drive onto pc and run it through psn demo installer
then try it that way

no it dint work. but stupid as i am ive been installing things wrong

ive just managed to install 4 psn games (full) by useing the pkg installer in jailbreak mode
so ile download again and ftp the file over to laptop then put it onto the root of a usb and install by the jailbreak way

they are .pkg files right?

Maybe if you use the new psgroove payload that allows you to install retail PKG, it might fix the game add-ons and installs that everyones having problems with. I haven't tried it yet so I cant confirm.

Someone really needs to make a Tutorial to teach us thing such as how to obtain PSN title/ pkg links so we can go ahead and help with adding to the database.

I really wish I could help people get the PSN links for people asking requests.

My PS3 crashes! I use FTP Server Blackbox 1.2 on a PS3 Slim PAL. I tried to download 2 patches and 1 add-on.

Using KaKaRoTo's PL3 allows retail pkg installation via Install Package in the XMB and through launching the PS3 title. I have at least tested it with Assassin's Creed II and Bayonetta. I have yet to get Hermes V4 working with retail pkg installs.

How would you delete a .pkg that requires activation? I downloaded the Ninja Gaiden Sigma weapons master add-on and installed it. Now when I go to launch the game it says I need to go to PSN to validate it.

Probably delete the game data in the Game Data folder.

First are you sure that the ip is correct? Second can you post the link you are trying to get?

Also what FTP program are you using?

I could help you provide updates for games if you like, where should i post them so you could update the PSN Links menu?
