FTP SERVER

When the ftp server is added to cfw post it here!!! so it is easy to find and post a link as well

OK from what i read on that site all you have to do is Download the official firmware from here http://www.ps3-hacks.com/file/238 {install back on system} then install the jailbreak firmware from http://geohot.com/jailbreak.zip

i am trying this right now will update with progress.


OK it worked for me make sure u put the 2 files and folder on root of usb stick then goto install package in the game menu of the xmb then install the file.

also backup launchers are working i am currently copying a game from ps3 to external hd as i type this

ok so copying game works in launcher but cannot play the game grrrrr oh well guess just have to wait is all (sighs)

The 3.55 jailbreak will allow you to go online with PSN yes, however its done at your own risk as sony could ban you at any time for using CFW.

did u restore official firmware from here http://www.ps3-hacks.com/file/238 first then install the jailbreak firmware from http://geohot.com/jailbreak.zip the jailbreak beeps then turns off the ps3 then u have to use the power button on the ps3 to turn it on then u should just have a folder titled install packages under the game tab

no packages show up when i put it into the root folder am i supposed to put it into ps3, savedata or what?
