1080p or HDMI?

Seeing how nobody goes on ps3brew or anything else, I will just post this thread here...

which do you think is better...? or does it even make a difference?

Whats the difference? HDMI outputs 1080p...

Exactly. HDMI just is a faster means of data transfer.

Thats what i was thinking.....doesnt HDMI put out 1080P. I dont think they are competitive.

Maybe he meant to compare component 1080p to hdmi 1080p?

IF that is so, Devils, then HDMI would win because it has a bigger loud (it can do more things faster and can handle more data).

Picture/game quality wise... I am currently using 1080p with my ps3 and I was thinking for a second that I was missing out because I am not using HDMI.. but I was reading and they are both the same. Currently playing MGS4 and loving it!

I think u can only reach 1080i with component cables....i might be wrong.

you are wrong.
the component cables does go up to 1080p... but it also depends on your tv and if it has 1080p support or not.

It depends on your tv. I have a sony bravia and the component only goes up to 1080i.

1200p/i is out for alienware monitors. Haha, kinda random, bu that would be the best. out of place tho
