Its not the hardware, that is google, its the software.

Android, will be able to go on almost any phone soon enough.

A jailbroken iPhone dualbooting Android and its native OS would make me go pay the high fee for an iphone

I got it, Hardware made by HTC but right now this thread is specifically about the G-phone or "Google Phone" if you prefer, offered by T-mobile.

Custom firmware for many types of phones has been available for some time. My HTC6800 is on non standard firmware.

Anyhow

I just want to know if any coders are excited about this phone or since it keeps coming up if they will go for the iPhone.

A kid on my football team had a Voyager that was smashed. They sent him a replacement one and it had a different, crappy firmware on it.
There was almost no touch screen functionality and it looked disgusting.
