Iron Man II

So the new Ironman movie is being cast. To those that have seen it there is a casting change. The actor that played "Roady" is being replaced by another actor.

Roady was the Air Force officer that was friends with Tony Stark.

I am kind of disappointed because there will be a slight discontinuity to the films.

Does anyone else care?

I hate when actors get replaced because they really help create who a character is and since everyone is different, no one can make two of the same characters the same.

But, I loved Iron Man.
One of the best films ever.
Great action and hella funny.

It annoys me when they change actors =/. I can't wait to see the next one, because it stopped at the end about the Avengers.

I don't know how much you like to read but I found a torrent for all the comics about 6 months ago. The movie covered parts of comics printed from 1968 through about 1985. That was when Obadiah used his armor to fight Iron Man.

I strongly suspect SHIELD will play a bigger role in the next film. Sam Jackson was a big surprise as Nick Fury. When I first saw the cameo I feared it was Morpheus from Matrix, glad I was wrong.

I know it will never happen but I would really like to see a big marvel crossover story with Xmen, Spiderman, The Hulk and so forth.

I am not too excited about the up coming Captain America film but if they ever do an Avengers film I would like to see the same actors that played in the original roles play in that film.

I dont mind the replacement of the actor...its no different than replacing james bond from the 007 movies every 5 or 6 films those always turn out great.

I really would like to see a follow up for the punisher. The latest version of the punisher was very good, and very well acted.

You are right about 007 but the actors need to be replaced because 10 years or more can pass during that time to keep the story going and makeup can only do so much for the actors youth.

Are you talking about the Punisher movie with John Travolta? I haven't seen it but will rent it if that is the one you are referring to.

I'm talking about this one...
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0330793/

Has John Travolta as the villain, Thomas Jane plays the Punisher

I just put it on my Netflix.

There have been a lot of movies called Punisher. One called "Punisher:War Zone" came out earlier this year.

Yep, I'm pretty sure the new film will include more detail about the Avengers.
Also the Punisher movie with John Travolta was awesome! Especially when he makes the flaming skull.

WOA little buddy! Who told you that? Roady wears the suit in the comic when Tony is too drunk to do it his self!

If you watch the movie you see Roady look at the MKII armor and he says "Maybe nextime" or something to that effect.

Roady is a very important side character!
