Hey, This May Sound ike A Noob Question, But I Have No Memory Of Someone Under The Name Of Malias G, Like Did He Leave, Get Banned? What?

hacked into the site was the main reason. And he wasnt too fond of DPM..countless arguement.

gotta love the joy of the brewology hidden archives section;)

mega user/spammer. Caused many headaches. is the simple answer

Deth can you please change your sig + put censors in your swearing. Ive goto be the first to tell you, You swear a awful F**king lot, and their are rules against it.

Yep he contacted me a few times, asking for something I PMed the admins and they never responded so w.e.

Mailas was banned for breaking the rules as a staff member, foremost, but for being a generally miserable person to have around the forums as well as being one of the biggest "spammers" in the sense that he posted after almost EVERY other post... it was so annoying. He was demoted from staff by me, then spammed, then was banned. An older admin brought him back and he exploited a security flaw we had at the time and tried wrecking some stuff... but we had a backup from like... 6 days prior, so he wrecked 6 days of posts... big deal - but I banned him pretty much for the sake of killing his account that had the most posts in Brewology history. I didn't delete the account... which I could... but I kind of like having him banned better. It's like a trophy to me.

And, by the way, he did return and has an active account but he's a nobody.

@ Dethklok - your sig is a little too big. Make the font smaller and take away the spaces between the words and I'll let it slide though.

It doesn't matter how old you are yourself, or what your parents allow you to do. We want to keep the forums as a very loosely enforced forum where everyone can visit. So stop bickering, I have tried not to enforce the rules so strictly to where it pisses people off because a majority of the forum is pretty mature, but if you can't facilitate your own adherence to the rules then you will be reprimanded, and I will be forced to actually enforce the rules a lot more then I am now. So clean up your sig and move on.

Like dpm said, Mailas is gone now. Done deal.

He was actually a pretty cool dude in that early life of the brew. Everyone
made fun of him so that was pretty fun.
