Both of you have useless headphones lol. BKF's are neat but operate on 2.4ghz so it can interfere with anything from cell phones, cordless house phones, just about anything else... lol - even most routers. And Ace's headphones are good and handle some neat technology but aren't much more impressive than my Skullcandy Hesh headphones (and X-FI XtremeGamer sound card) other than giving you more high pitches and a LITTLE less lower frequency sounds. I'd personally rather cut those super high pitches out and smooth the "lows" with Smart Volume Management (SVM) so there is less fluctuation between the highest and the low.

BKF's support the xbox better for gaming though, in my opinion, unless the Tritons offer variable volumes for in-game and voice as well as being able to use microphone monitoring so you can hear yourself and not shout out like a fool and break everyone's eardrums because you can't hear anything lol.

I can't stand DPM and his amazing computer. (I'm obviously joking so don't tear me a new one)
Anything with that many upgrades is gonna be better than others and that's exactly why I hate PC gaming. Back when i played wow, if I lagged (Graphical lag) on my priest.. I was dead.

It's just unfair for the people who can't afford badass comps.

That's why xbox wins in my book.

HAH! You think the X3's are better for gaming? Your crazy, but maybe it's because you've never really used both on an xbox? The X3s have major interference, thats why they came out with the X4's because they sucked that bad. The only con I have found about my trittons is the fact that it uses only either TOSLINK or 3.5mm jacks for the computer in which case you can't use the amp when using it on the computer (no reason to lug the big things around for an ipod or something when you could just get a skullcandy set).

Skullcandy makes some quality headsets but for gaming I *might* need a microphone with that... I'm not listening to music or on the computer using a soundcard so the trittons sounded the best to me for guns or making say someones footsteps behind you stand out more. The only thing I would have liked more is Astros, but for $120 my headset is the best thing I could find for the price range. Besides the only thing the X4s have on them is wireless, but I sit a few feet from my xbox so that's just pointless.

I understand your ignorance dpm though due to the fact that you don't play on xbox live like we do, or don't need a mic. Although why would I want to hear myself in my headset? I want to hear the game, and mix some voices in with it but I would despise any headset that made me also hear my voice like there is an echo, everyone yells already when the lag caused by walmart connections does that XD

Nope. Doesnt operate on 2.4ghz. they are IR.

Edit: and the hearing yourself is actually a good thing Ace. I thought id hate it too. Its not noticeable until you start yelling, which then the echo "alerts" you and you settle down.

Nah I've used stuff before where you can hear yourself, like monitors on a stage, and I really don't have any idea how anyone can stand hearing themselves, but that's just me I guess. I would rather hear the game effects then voices. But I don't know about you but I know most of the time if I'm yelling or not... Besides I like the more oval style then circle headsets just because they feel better to me.

If I used any headphones though I would definitely use fiber optic with it though, I mean you can't beat the clarity you get with it, and surround sound. I think the X4's have 4 drivers per side though like the tritton but for the price difference you can't beat it ;)

I think with the new motion controlling, the Wii will no longer stand a chance in the market. The Slim 360 will probably cost the same or close to the price of the Wii, so it would look so minuscule compared to the 360.
On top of that, the PS3 is reported by BBC to have better recognition in speed and orientation than Natal.
