Look at fail rates, BTW. wii close to NONE. PS3 little more then that. both cases are fixable. 360 is 33-40 percent. lot more than should be.

look at the manufacturers. Nintendo-been doing this forever
Sony-been making electronic for fairly long time
Mocrosoft-hasnt made a decent OS till this year(supposed) so what makes then think a Game system will be better?

also- internet searchability. PS3 check. WII check. 360 nope.

built in wifi WI PS3 check. 360 nope.
ONLINE GAME PLAY PS3 360 check. wii------difficult to do for me. i have tried. should be simpler.
online costs. wii (figure it out and buy the browser) nothing and 600 points.
PS3 free sufring free play. standard dl cost like WII and 350
360 no surfing, 6 bucks a month.

i DO like the wire 360 controllers for use in windows games. i also like how it looks, but it wasnt thought out very well and nothing changed between the normal and elite, for i has seen mobo specs and all they did was paint it black.

HDD SIZES. ps3 has ranging and including all models 20gb to 180 gb. 20-old 60 had removable HDD's and could have 500 gb.

wii has flash mem. lame

360 has specific HDD's, but decent sizes.

card slots?
wii SD
ps3 (old was compact flash, memstick pro duo, sd) new none
360 none

all have atleast 2 USB ports. old ps3 had like 4

all in all they all seem to have flaws and improvemnet spots. did i miss anything?

hackablility 360 yes(warranty voiding)
wii YES YES YES
ps3 not that i know of

other things. PS3 has other OS install options.
PS3 and 360 have media center streaming.

360 does music in game from (XMB?)
wii does no music without hacks.
PS3 is the only one with themes i believe.

PS3 and 360 are fun but I really don't like any games on the Wii except SSBB.
I'm waiting for PS3MC and Natal to make up my mind for the best one but I voted the PS3 because I like it little, little more than the 360.

I voted for 360 because that's all I play when it comes to consoles, simply because I only play games online (other then assassin's creed) and everyone I know has a 360 so of course that's an obvious choice, as well as all the many options for modding the console. The ps3 has good graphics though, and it doesn't seem that it has a very bad failure rate at all, but I don't like the lack of backwards compatibility. And the only time I ever played my Wii was like during Christmas with relatives, so I sold it.

At least Microsoft finally started producing systems with 65nm gpus and cpus, still don't know why they just didn't change the design of the x-clamps to begin with, O well what can you expect.

Ok i am going to state my reasons why i like the 360. (since i was in a MW2 match earlier lol)

I like the 360 because IMHO the games are great the contoller feels Natural and is comfortable. all my friends have one and the online--XBOX Live to you have to pay for gold--destroys PS3's online community. Backwards Compat. yes PS3 does to but that was in 60GB and 80GB versions of the 1st release, now they dont. Bad move sony. the ability to put your game data on 360 HDD so it reads disc one time and wont spin disc again, keeping the system cooler, bout 20 degrees cooler.

Yes Microsofts OS's Sucked Arse--windows 7 being exception--but as a gaming company there not doing to bad, despite the RRoD, that can be avoided with case modding--adding more and better fans--wich suck that we have to prevent it for them but still.

I used to have a PS3 and loved it also for diff reasons it was quiet and sexy. 360 is LOUD and can me sexy if modded.

I miss my PS3 deeply tho.

But XBOX 360 ftw.

I have all three systems and here is my take.

Xbox 360 is all around a great system with great exclusives and a big user base. I believe it to be the best "gamer" system.

The Wii provides most family fun and fun at social gatherings hands down.

The PS3 has some good exclusives (Uncharted, MGS4, etc...) but has the most refined media interface in my opinion.

The one with me?

I also voted Xbox because, as stated before, my friends had one- and I want to play with friends.

Also the party chat feature seems next level to the PS3s in game chat.

I read somewhere that the 360's failure rate is around 4-5% now. They re-worked some stuff and released another model that has been out for several months.

And the PS3 is the only console I play, it has a bunch of different genres and games to keep me interested. I will eventually get a 360 and Wii to buy all the good exclusives but there's no reason for me to have more than one system. There is nothing about the PS3 that I don't like.

Oh and for "PS3 Top Games", you need to put MGS4 in there and get inFamous out of there! And Resistance 1 and 2 beat out Killzone 1 and 2 any day for me.

I like how every time the PS3 price drops it looses some feature or form of backwards compatibility.

However to be fair $ony does have a free gameplay network but there are many complaints about connectivity.

I do score another point for $ony in that the PS3 does free Netflix streaming. 360 does it ONLY with a Gold account which cost $50 a year. Not a bad price for a gaming network but if you are already paying for the Netflix service you shouldn't have to pay extra to stream.
