Just my luck! My mic broke!

So I'm running around, playing COD MWF2.
Knife spec <3.

Wired mic First off.

Then my mic f**k up, at first I unplug it and replug in. (No dice).
Then I restarted my Xbox (No Dice.)
Then i cleaned and blew out the mic connectors. (No Dice).
Then I tried changing Controllers (No Dice).
Then I tried new Batteries (No dice).


FML

No help, but I do recommend a turtle beach or something of the sort. It may look like a high price...but they work, are good, and last.

Just happens...the things are built like crap. But yeah invest in some turtle beach's like bk stated

I wouldn't spend much on any microphone. I just keep getting $1-2 POS microphones and when they break I get another one (because they always break). The bonus to this method is that you always have spare parts/ wires if you know how to repair them yourself so some of them spring back to life every now and then!

and if you feel fancy, buy the flippen skull candy cellphone earphones. they work great for phones and they are the same damn thing as box mics. cellphone mic = 10 bucks (nice) xbox ones (for idiots who dont think) = 20+ bucks (lower)

iPhone 1g (first iPhone) doesnt use the same earphones as others. Xbox mics have a better mic setup than Earphones. Its closer to the mouth. People sound very distant when not using xbox mics (as opposed to headphone mics)
