Then there was a 2012 post brought up which was locked and forwarded to the already-existing 2012 thread. There's a thread about how everyone hates me and my staff which was shut down after 2 or 3 days and then there was a member breaking a rule advertising about another forum.

All other topics of interest I've come across with members being upset lately derives from locked posts or people spamming and being mad that their posts were deleted, but that stuff is covered quite clearly in our rules so I don't even pay attention to that stuff to be honest. There's also people that don't like ace and BKF, but to be honest, they are two of the finest moderators we've ever had and I personally feel that the staff leadership here is very fair compared to almost all other tech-related websites.
I think it's time that people not be selfish and pull together for the community of the website. I went ahead and launched the news contribution section where anybody can post awesome links for news posts. I think that's a fine start to get us pumping news as fast as other tech sites. A lot of things are broken across the network right now, but we're slowly bringing bits and pieces back to try and isolate our security flaws. As the staff is working hard to make the site better, I feel it's only right for the community to pull together as well. There's lots of naysayers that like to complain about things not being done or want to be staff members themselves so the idea is that those people should take that energy and turn it into a positive community-driven role that we've established: news posting.
We are also now taking news for PCBrew topics as well as ANY crazy/ cooky tech-related stuff that we can get our hands on. That stuff will be filed under "Brewology" for the news category though, and will ONLY be represented on Brewology.com, so I recommend that people use that portal to enter the site.
