this know where it is, doesn lose it and doesnt mess up. its beautiful. you just seem to want to cut it down to the wii's level.

Light Travels in straight lines and as the actual thing that hits the TV is inferred boom bada bing, The thing controlling the button controllers is bluetooth, dont be a sausage :L if you cover up anything that uses infered it'll be blocked.
----after edit of this post and the deletion of the accidental double post----
it isn't wireless, its inferred reciever with bluetooth,
with infered you can point to the screen, with bluetooth you can choose which buttons you pick etr,
without both it isnt a controller and it fails.
just use your common sense, with just wireless you cant point to a screen the only actual way to be able to point to a screen going through objects would be a Gamma Ray, or a Beta reciever which if you know your Sience(spelling fail or not i cant remember lol) Gamma is highly radioactive and even exposure to little amounts after a long period of time could cause cancer but it will most definatly highten the chances, same with beta, and Alpha cant even go through a piece of paper so gf trying to go through a few meters of air.
i highly doubt PS3 has a Gamma reciever, would be uneasy at least to make with our current techonology

After reading the link from Airplanes:
so basicly they chopped off some plastic dont have a wire, and your saying its completly different lol.
also if that thing uses a Camera, covering it up will do the blimmen same as the what happons to the wii, Light cant travel through matter silly.
tbh this "Camera" is actualy going to be worse then the wii's inferred.

“-No wasted batteries: The Wii remote sucks up AA battery juice. The Move and its companion sub-controller are rechargeable via the same mini-USB connection used to charge the PS3’s main controller.”
No offence meant, but considering that AA rechargable batteries have been around since the 80’s I fail to see how this is a significant difference.
Overall, these elements are still cosmedic and, to me, fail to separate the Move from the Wii Remote."
also to the guy who said "did you mean the Eyetoy" no i ment all that "new technology ment to be out around 2010" that was shown in E3
