have you played with a wii? or even seen the remote? its basically a crappy tv remote dependent on an equally as crappy reciever. block it and your hosed. go off screen and it messes up.

this know where it is, doesn lose it and doesnt mess up. its beautiful. you just seem to want to cut it down to the wii's level.

Lol you said have you played with a wii

Yes, We have one.

"Its basically a TV remote"- If your going by looks what do you consider the Move? A Tv remote.

If you cover up the bluetooth receiver on the PS3 then you block the remote too. It doesnt all go by the eyetoy.

If I move my Wii off the screen its off the screen. I dont understand what you mean by mess up.

All this leads me to my next point- you can only have 2 Moves on one PS3 if your using both controller.

On the Wii, you can have four :)

the ball changing colour isn't really gonna make a difference when its ball deep in some womans clunge (other name for Vagina)

lets just see how it all pans out, i mean a Wiimote for Adult games ticks the boxes for me... does the 360 cod still have money coming out the enemys when you shoot them?

and yeah "she" DCM but i dont know you guys all that well yet so dont like to offend "pottentially"

Light Travels in straight lines and as the actual thing that hits the TV is inferred boom bada bing, The thing controlling the button controllers is bluetooth, dont be a sausage :L if you cover up anything that uses infered it'll be blocked.
----after edit of this post and the deletion of the accidental double post----

it isn't wireless, its inferred reciever with bluetooth,
with infered you can point to the screen, with bluetooth you can choose which buttons you pick etr,
without both it isnt a controller and it fails.
just use your common sense, with just wireless you cant point to a screen the only actual way to be able to point to a screen going through objects would be a Gamma Ray, or a Beta reciever which if you know your Sience(spelling fail or not i cant remember lol) Gamma is highly radioactive and even exposure to little amounts after a long period of time could cause cancer but it will most definatly highten the chances, same with beta, and Alpha cant even go through a piece of paper so gf trying to go through a few meters of air.

i highly doubt PS3 has a Gamma reciever, would be uneasy at least to make with our current techonology

After reading the link from Airplanes:

so basicly they chopped off some plastic dont have a wire, and your saying its completly different lol.
also if that thing uses a Camera, covering it up will do the blimmen same as the what happons to the wii, Light cant travel through matter silly.
tbh this "Camera" is actualy going to be worse then the wii's inferred.

“-No wasted batteries: The Wii remote sucks up AA battery juice. The Move and its companion sub-controller are rechargeable via the same mini-USB connection used to charge the PS3’s main controller.”

No offence meant, but considering that AA rechargable batteries have been around since the 80’s I fail to see how this is a significant difference.

Overall, these elements are still cosmedic and, to me, fail to separate the Move from the Wii Remote."

also to the guy who said "did you mean the Eyetoy" no i ment all that "new technology ment to be out around 2010" that was shown in E3

So its an updated Wii Remote with a giant Ball that changes colors? and minus the motion sensor in the second hand? yeah still sucks. and will be bought for many lonly women. wow this sucks so much.

Now you Hated EVERYTIHNG about Wii. Love PS3. So what are your thoughts on natal. Its just like this with the eyetoy but updated But way batter.

My point is if 360 did this you would be on the bandwaggon calling it gay. but since ists sony you love it and defed it.

this is what it really is.

didn't blow a Valve lol.
also not everyone hates wii, and what i find pretty fuunny most idiots get amazing consoles but have s**t 480P Tv's which just makes me laugh.
Nintendo will never get bankrupped or leave the console scene compared to Xbox Nintendo has its "concreate foundations" where as imo Xbox doesn't, e.g.
Ps3 is stupid and makes a console with a loss in the first place lol :-)
but anyways
Wii gets HD updates its sytem a little, *with HD comes a better processer because you cant have 1 without the other being laggy etr etr*
wii hasn't goto do much tbh, also its only real downfall is the limited amount of games it has

whats with you and ships? :P

Why isn't DPM on this topic? Anyways, I'd like to say a couple of things(first time). Anyone comparing the PSmove and the Natal with the wii(not differences but rather about which one is better) is an idiot, because the PSmove and Natal are coming out in 2010, and the wii was made when?November 19, 2006(US) .

Natal? have you seen the video of it, in the beginning itself comes a statement saying that actual things may vary. also, have you seen the kid/dinosaur part? the kid moves forward and so does the dinosaur, then what happens after you get to the place in front of the tv where you can't move forward? does the dinosaur get stuck there? this would go with games like GTA, e.t.c.

So yeah, PS move isn't the same tech used for the Wii. First off, the Wii is different than a remote. A typical remote control contains an IR LED and the TV contains an IR sensor. For the Wii, the sensor bar contains the IR LEDs, but the Wiimote doesn't have just an IR sensor, it's a camera. An IR sensor will just get the message but the camera allows X,Y tracking of the IRs in the sensor bar. That allows you to point and shoot. The accelerometer(s) inside will measure the various angles you hold the Wiimote at.

The PS move uses a camera to track the ball on the end. Based on the size and the intensity of the light it can determine your distance away from the camera. Instead of the Wii's X,Y axis tracking, this allows 3D X,Y,Z axis tracking. On board accelerometer(s) and a magnetometer will help make accurate trackings.

From what I read, it even sounds like the accelerometer in the PSmove is more advanced than the one in the Wiimote.

2 different products people.

But cant you see this is all going to help us out anyway

eventually (like we see over and over) the big players of the consoles will all eventually incorperate these tech's together..
imagine a Natal style world with the controls of Wand/Wii able to sit in your living room with full projectors on each wall giving you full 360degree view of your game then running on some track to move your player about shooting the crap out of everything..

i'm sure this has all been explained in 80's movies of how games will be in the future, its all happening boys!!! just you wait
