The thing is we can't judge the product until it is released. Maybe it will suck or maybe it will be the bees knees. At least let it be freakin released first.

I was responding to Airplanes18 about Nintendo. As for the PSmove, I don't think the target audience will respond well to the device. Surely there's applications which may benefit from this control scheme in the future on the PS3 but I don't see them "taking away market share" from Nintendo just because of this added bit of functionality because many people who've chosen to get a PS3 do not like the Wii's control scheme in the first place. It should be noted, however, that since the PS3 is the current console leader as far as sales go that if Sony can get themselves and other developers to support the device properly for the proper games made for this type of control scheme that it probably won't "hurt" Sony... it's just that I don't see it posing a threat for Nintendo.

As of that article on Wikpedia the 360 is still the leader in the US by a million units sold. the wii is the worldwide leader tho.

its probably cuz of prices. i mean honestly, when the PS3 and xbox launched, who was cheapest? wii, xbox, THEN ps3. now that the elites and the slim ps3's are the same 300 bucks.... i expect the PS3's to get more popular.

wii is the cheapest. and so far every one i know that has one has it for either (non)gaming adults or children. i got mine cuz it was cheap.

It's impossible to make any bullet proof console, all the consoles this generation have had failures. But it is highly improbably that if you went out and bought an xbox now with the 65nm proc's and all that good stuff that I have mentioned previously that you will get an RROD unless your xbox slipped through QC with a problem, in which case it's the asians fault, not the producer :p

you shouldnt HAVE to jack with it!!! someone shouldnt have to JERRY RIG it to get it to work correctly!

Well I fixed it. so LOL. but its a money thing. the CPU and GPU arent held down tight enough. That is very simple to fix. I did. they can do that and solve the RRoD prob.

Well technically it isn't that they aren't held down tight enough, it's the motherboard warping because of the poor design of the x clamps, and uneven pressure.

But this thread isn't about xbox 360 faults, it's about Sony's new dildo.
