PS3 beats Wii with PSMove?

The move is gimmicky just like the wii remote is gimmicky. Don't get me wrong, I applaud Nintendo for bringing in a whole new group of people to play and enjoy games, but this type of play simply is catered to the typical gamer. All Playstation Move will do is bring 50 different carnival games to the ps3. There will be nothing "hardcore" about it, because face it, you just can't play hardcore games solely with motion controls.

P.S.- I didn't read through the entire thread, so forgive me if I've rehashed some things.

Well a generation is probably going to come in which u hold actual guns, wear bullet proof armour, call your friends and play MW2 at home...

(I doubt it, but it was a weird idea)

uhuh, but i dont really get the point your trying to make man..

the way i see it is: that this wand thing will eventually (or hopefully) bring out some freaking light gun games with GORE and great physics... like HOUSE OF THE DEAD... god i miss light gun games... i just think there will be so much more use for it and ok 360 fanboys comment all you want but its not really going to stop development of it.. and despite the similarities between the wii controller and the wand (and the idea being similar in nature) its still going to be a great addon to a great console.

Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft i mean all three of the big boys havn't failed us yet have they? i also cant seem to think of a preprehersal that any of these 3 have brought out which has flopped.. can you?

I yes if you want can say 360fanboy lol. but i love all 3 systems. and yes this can be really cool for some ppl. its just not for me. maybey wen i get hands on i can change my attitude about it but right now i dont care for it.

Nintendo beats alot of the other companys and it has a much bigger foundation then them aswell.

to the people cheering Natal : Look, when it comes out your going to have to pay for a new console, BUT for the wand you don't have to buy a new console, keep your ps3 and spend $100 instead of $450-600(Natal)..

@Alex: i find it hard to believe that N64 beat the ps1 maybe to begin with but then the 64 had a good headstart on the ps1, ps1 kept selling even long after the N64 was burried under all the rubble...


@DCM: from the site and the reviews of Natal they're saying you wont need a new console it'll just work with the console they already have (thats ofc if its not RROD by then hhahaha my friends now on his 4th 360 in 2 years)

the n64 still sells you forget that, people will never stop playing such classics as, Mario 64, Perfect dark, Golden Eye.
Nintendo has 1989 was around 5 years before playstation 1 was released 1994.
Xbox is overall great, i honestly dont care if it rrods i get a brand new one for free so get in.
Ps3 w/e.
Wii, gamecube love the group of games they have could have alot better ones but its there loss, still great games.

i honestly think the Gamecube was the worst console nintendo ever came out with. there were a bunch of crappy games, mostly cut down, and it was frustrating. stupid small discs, stupid weird controller.(sony has kept the same one (analog sticks) since the beginning! xbox added the "bumpers" well. ok. the moved black and white to LB/RB. techn' same controller)

however, the Gameboy? THAT was decent system. i remember that was all i had. good mems.... ds is kinda like an over sized gameboy, but without a slot on the DSi's. thats..... dumb. and now they have to remake pokemon games? wtf people? try originality!
