PSP 6.20 Exploit - CrimsonFate - Try it out here

Well I'm a developer from the PSPHacks forums, and I decided to come on here and ask some people
who still have a PSP here to test my exploit out.

Image

If you do NOT have a PSP, please just run PSPFin and select: Connect
In the next screen leave everything blank, except check the "adhoc" box, and click OK.
If you are able to connect, then this is perfect! Reply here with the results it outputs. (copy and paste)

All I need people to do is plug in your PSP or PSPGo, make sure it goes through USB connection.
And there will be a file in this download:
*CENSORED*
Once its in USB mode, just run PSPFin.exe, and it will create a .txt file.

All I want to know is if that .txt file has this text in its output:
REN-505C (S)

S = Successful
AL = Allocated (memory allocated)

If it does not say either or those, it will be replaced with a hexadecimal number.
You don't really need to know anything about that, but all I need is the output of that .txt file.

It doesnt matter what firmware you have (as long as its 6.20 or below)

Please do test this out and reply here with the result.

**Note: This is not anywhere related to the Save-Game data exploit.**

I'm testing this out with many people, so far many have gotten varied results.

If anyone is willing to test this out, please please please try it. It will help me in my progress of completion.

**Update**
For those who don't have a PSP, I have added a new [b]network
feature that allows people to connect to my PSP (through ad-hoc mode) in the PSPFin.exe, it is setup in USB mode and I will leave it on throughout th week.
Simply hit the new 'Connect' button located at the top left corner of the program now, and make sure you check AD-HOC
in the following screen. Click OK and it's good to go.
A .txt file will pop up in the folder you opened PSPFin.exe, tell me the contents of that .txt file.

This is amazing what we can do now, so far my eLoader is somewhat working, but the structure is varied.
Basic ISO's and emulation was attempted, I'm so close to fully getting the backwards-compatibility down. Please if you have a chance test this out, it works with or without a device now.

I'm sorry I just noticed you have a developers section, please move it to there.

I'm sorry that I find this hard to believe.

It's just strange that 2 members that never post, only post now..
No offense to either of you, I'm going to have to look into this before I run anything.

Simply Stated, I'm not an idiot.

I wouldn't worry, Puncharger. These are the kinds of posts that get people to join the site. He's from PSPHacks so I wouldn't doubt that this is some random spam or something...

Yes, I have given it to exclusive people at my other forums, this seems like a distant secluded forums and it looks like
its been around for a while.

Even if you dont have a PSP, please do try to connect to my PSP (through adhoc).
You can connect by opening PSPFin, and on the following screen will be 2 options.
Choose the option: Connect
The next screen I ask that you leave everything default, and check the "adhoc" box.
Leave the port number the same aswell.

If success, I should be able to see stats that my adhoc connection does indeed work with a PC component.
So far few have been able to work, but I have adjusted it recently today.

Please if anyone can try to connect that would be great.
Only takes a few seconds.

If you have tried and it did not connect, please reply with the error message here.

Do not trust this poster. Both of those first two posters are the same person. I will look into this personally.

I hope no one tried this! It looked extremely fishy, especially when he asks you to test it even if you don't have a psp.. lol.

Okay I got screwed here.
I think this guy knows who I am, because he posted the same file on another forum that I go to,
only he used a game instead of a PSP exploit, and I actually downloaded it and tried it.

It's a keylogger, my scanner picked it up as so now.

Oh this is just great. I have to change all my passwords on another computer and everything,
reimage this and dual boot to my other OS.

Yeah he pmd me also, deleted it straight away.
