Right!! If I make a character in a movie that has to be Mexican, I shouldn't be allowed to be sued for turning down people from the job if they don't look Mexican just like I shouldn't be allowed to be sued for turning down people who are too small, tall, fat, or the wrong gender.

It's not just comics

Unfortunately he was Jewish... but I don't know about yall but I don't know how the culture looked back then aside from the obvious features Jews have been given. Of course I didn't mean to start any religious debate in this thread, I was simply using what I said as an example. Should've known better then that...

That's just what the world is coming to, they remade Cinderella with a black woman, with a white mother and a Chinese father or something stupid like that.

Anyways I didn't like the first trilogy of Spiderman, they focused too much on feelings and the personal life and boo whoo I'm so emo.

Disney didn't remake Cinderella with a black woman. That's the ignorant responses that I hate. So what if they made a movie that had a black lead? They didn't do it because they hadn't yet... They did it because she was the character in the story.
This is Loco Roco rehashed.

I know what you are saying about Disney. It seems to me that they cram all this down our throats and it doesn't feel like the natural progression of things.

As for Spiderman being emo; well he was! Stan Lee once said he liked Spiderman the best because of his "real" issues. I liked Spiderman for his wise cracks/smart mouth.

What? I'm just saying it is ridicules to have a parent of one race, another of another race, to have a child of a whole other race. Just to make everyone happy.

Just to make everyone happy? They didn't do it for that reason. They did it because it was important to the story-line.

Too lazy to read any of these long rants, but my opinion is this:

If you are so hell-bent on having a black guy as a superhero (which makes little sense to me, since They all seem to be pretty f**k super) Make a new one, don't try and steal previously presented ones. Have KFC man or something; Big-ass chicken leg that he wings around like a club or something. I'm not racist, I'm just a visionary.

About time whites got a new superhero also, gonna call him the "wigga" Tries to be black and fails. It's to the point now where they have it just fine, and I'm tired of all this racist sh*t. We are all the same, and if you don't like it, move to a different continent. I'm so close to saying "f**k it" and inventing a skin colour changer. Racists can be injected with black dye by force after "LEGITIMATE" racism, and blacks can be given the choice to change their skin colour, Which they WONT WANT TO I can guarantee you.

Could have made this longer, but I'm tired.

You are losing me here, how is having a black person, white person, and an Asian person all blood related in a family important to the story-line?

Maybe you could watch the movie.
You can't regulate characters that people make for movies.... That's censoring freedom of expression.

Whoa whoa I'm not trying to bring down the man or anything, no where have I stated that it is bad or I hate multicultural families or anything outrageous, why the hostility?

This is my first post:

"That's just what the world is coming to, they remade Cinderella with a black woman, with a white mother and a Chinese father or something stupid like that. "

All I said is it is ridicules to have a black person, white person, and an Asian person all blood related in a family, it just seems like they are trying to make everyone accepted and make it more politically correct by not leaving everyone out.

I have seen the movie though, we watched it in English class in 11th grade - it's a decent movie.
