Thanks.
I'm no bigot, as I said

People can think any way they want, and give me as many of their opinions as they want, but I'm still gonna tell them mine, or else the bigotry finger will point to them. Wouldn't you agree good sir?

@ Diehard: "KFC man", "The Wigga"? You want the forum to believe that these seriously aren't bigoted comments?
This thread isn't about black or white culture it is about changing the image of a character or an idea. Like having a female Starbuck on Battlestar Galactica instead of a male one like it was originally. With the changes does the character still feel the same, that is the question.
It was never my wish or intent to have stereotypes injected into the thread like you have, sir.

Then I apologize; I had figured the topic was based on an individual(s) mindset towards said news article, being linked by yourself in the primary thread post, after myself having viewed in your initiating sentence the following question: "Are we going to have a black batman next?" Which factually could very well have been answered by me, or any other individual in a short "yes/no" format, however I decided amongst myself to add a minescule twist, or "zing" if you will, to the preliminary message. I had, however, at the time of the post in-question, believed to myself that the resulting feeling transmitted to readers would be one of (but not limited to) interest, adrenaline, eagerness, or anxiousness. That being stated; I had no intention on causing emotional, and/or mental harm to any party involved, along with any of whom may no yet be involved in this discussion.

like i stated it b4. Hollywood will throw in ANY races stereotype to a movie. Making it very racist or just stupid. I just think that if spiderman began black it would be dumb to make him white. vice versa. it would be changing the original image.

Haha. Seriously, though. I don't care if there's a black person that plays Spider-Man, but I do care if someone takes the movie and changes it into something to appeal to a new demographic by changing the skin color of all of the people and the culture of the movie and try to call it the same name. Romeo & Juliet was remade in the 90's and given a modern perspective but this isn't the same.
