I'm pretty sure that we don't need the extra help at this time. Once we have a truly finalized template to build graphics on top of, then we'll need some extra hands. Ideas for a finalized template or for a template that we can modify are always welcome since the navigation and pages are still primarily in text format with fillers and spacers at the moment.

I thank all members for being willing to help, but the custom-coding for the porting of features is something that monkeymaximus has decided to do on his own and has the ability to, unlike myself. We're just unsure of exactly how to tackle that problem. As a general rule of thumb, forum members can't be held accountable to help on serious things such as this. The members here have a hard time even posting news when I appoint them with the ability to. That's not a stab at any members here, however, it's just a trend that occurs across most major forum boards including this one.

More staff might be needed, but is not expected at this time. Private messages regarding a member's "online resume" can be submitted to me if looking for a staff position. No guarantees.

It's sad if you type a resume to be a forum staff member..

Just a thought, I don't care how much time you put into it.. that is sad.

Sounds like you guys need someone to show you how to do it....

Shall I find the countless times you've told us to never to PM or ask your for staff position? I don't know why you say this if you're absolutely against getting new moderators or especially administrators.

That's why I continued to post news until my news posting ability was taken away. Now, I post similar news articles on another site and actually get paid for it.

Da Cool Man wrote:Anyways the upgrade gives me an idea... If we can change the whole images and stuff, then you can send a message to all the members that have joined (i know there is a feature like that) telling them that the Brew has changed, come check it out, and maybe just maybe they (old members) might come and have a look, so they might post a bunch as well..

I think we should have been doing this for a long time.

Da Cool Man wrote:I vote for letting crait work as well....(Yes I know nobody is voting here but...)

Thanks, but apparently, members can't help.... That's why DPM or BFK aren't helping out and only Nik is doing the work himself. He has enough time to be on the site and post around, so he has enough to spend time setting the site up.
Wait..... :?:

- Crait. Shut up. Its that simple to you. When you dont know what your talking about, dont talk. Such as this time. Iv leaned back and listened to you far enough. And if you do keep talking, which sadly, I know you will, make sure you have a little first hand knowledge on the subject at hand..not just of what you have been told or assumed.

Puncharger- The resume thing is a great idea. We will know your credentials and personal thoughts which will better pick the staff. In fact, its bad to say that a resume is stupid when we ask for one.

It contradicts what you've always said..
Also if there is pretty much zero chance a new staff member will be assigned, why would anyone waste their time?

Guys Iv been wanting to say this...common sense. We dont want people begging for staff constantly. But when we ask for you to fill out a resume type PM we want you to.

What person of high authority has said that there will always be 0 chance for a new staff member? If you find it, quote it, link it, and send it to me. I will eat these words then.

Wow... BKF. I didn't expect that from you. That actually hurt a little.

I do know a lot more than you'd like to think so when you tell me that I need to learn a little more, maybe you can fill me in on what I'm missing because as I see it, you guys are the ones in need of help. That's one of the reasons why this is delayed and that's why this thread was posted.
I don't see what I've done to make you mad at me. I've offered to help and I know more about this kind of stuff than you and DPM.
Or... Maybe it's that I'm fed up with people saying one thing one day and then changing their minds the next? Should I conform and just take it? Should I just shut up and let it go like with my Gay Marriage thread or my thread about where people's screen names came from? This site has been going down hill and I've been trying to get people to stay on and I've been trying to post and I've been doing all this stuff, but it is in vain since no matter what I do, it won't make you guys happy and when it doesn't make you happy, you reply with that kind of post.
BKF, why don't you just lock this thread if you don't want people to reply? You don't want people to share their views, to offer help, or contribute to the conversation. I actually only see this thread as an announcement that would be better served on the front page as a news post.

All arguments aside, I hope the site gets an overhaul sooner rather than later so we can increase the traffic. I'm always around for chatting, and having ideas thrown around, I just don't have time to moderate the forums. Other than that, I'm not one to dive into drama pits, so that may be why I seem distant, but I'm always around...

Wait..... :?:

Well ever since everyone voted and said I shouldn't be a admin nor staff related in anyway I had my PMs privileges taken away why I have no idea that is the main reason monkey made me staff because I know what I'm doing and I always help whoever I can, but anybody that I wanted to help or tried asking me for help well didn't get it. As for the resume thing honestly its a joke. What we need for staff is people who actually care and have a mature attitude and know how to joke around, not little kids.

I'm just going to ignore the above post, I don't want to start a fight here, that is if that was a sarcastic post(duh)....

@DPM - crait has been here for so effing long, has a big no. of posts, so why doesn't he deserve to be a mod? If he does know all the stuff he is talking about then it would just speed up the upgrade progress, and I think he has been posting useful stuff, and has been here long enough to earn the trust to gain the ability to help...
