I might be getting a Ps3, and I'm just wondering if people mod their PS3's and play them online?

It happens on Xbox and It's slightly annoying and I'm trying to decide if the change from console to console is worth it.

I would be surprised if your original topic was deleted.

If anything this topic should have been moved to the PS3 section where it belongs but that's just my guess. I would check for you but I'm feeling lazy right now.

OH and it's pointless to mod a PS3 in any way. Geohot hasn't released any of his work and many people doubt that he has had any success at all.

No. not really. yeah theres game save modders but thats gone mostly. hacks for games through gamesaves. most servers watch your trigger presses (cod WAW) and will put limits if you reach certain speeds.

and as for hakcing other wise? not possible now that the linux support taken. that was the loophole, but it MAY come back


so its good. not as many hackers like xbox. even lag switches are defeated. if you lag, YOU lag. not everyone else. usually. and patches come good and plenty.
