This forum has been long dead, but as the regulars all seem to stop by and check-in because of boredom, nostalgia, or curiosity I figured why not find out what everyone is up to!

Hope all is well with you guys!

Haha seriously, it's been a loooong time. Going through some of these threads has been nostalgic and hilarious.

Living and working in Dallas, Texas, at a game studio as a tool developer. Can't really say which company I'm with since I have a problem with a stalker. :-/

Great to hear about the job! Not so much about the stalker...

Hows Dallas? You weren't there before, right?

nice! Ya, psp seems long gone.

I recently got the nvidia shield. I'm liking that. Pretty impressed with it actually... useful for watching media and recently added some retro emulators to it

Royalty Staxx. Wow at the nostalgia. People we used to play Halo 3 with back in the day were talking about you. Never knew what happened to you. Not sure if you're still into gaming, but add me on XBL if you are! ChA0TiCxDR3AMS

Hey everyone. Glad to know there is still a core group of people left alive xD. I never really did talk much but I always come back around every now and again. This was literally the first forum I ever signed up for. Even through its pretty much defunct I am glad to know it still exists lol. It holds a special place in my heart in relation to my internet history/nostalga.

So thanks! Anyone here on Twitter or Mastodon? Only person from here I follow at the moment is Crait.

Oh you know, not much. University life was big for a while, hurt my neck/back so I'm in and out a lot on hold for now. Crait knows this too well when we tried working with Slack a few months ago but I had one life event after another and just dissipated into nothing. SORRY!

Seeing the older users online on occasion is really nice. Seeing the online users who are located closer to me then what I was before is scary. However Toronto is fantastic.

It's also intimidating seeing some people and where they did go. Look at Surenix/Thientam he as far as I recall did work on WorkFlow which was bought by Apple. Yet it seems like yesterday we all wanted to love or murder each other. I'm not in a field or a profession that I want yet and everything is side jobs/small game but I enjoy it. For the time being.

I mostly just really miss Forums in general. The way they preserve, the way things were at that time is incredible and isn't something you get anymore, all our communications is just temporary. Forums were a place to come where you know you didn't need to worry about mostly saying or doing the wrong thing and a lot of people accepted you regardless. Coding/hacking are things that have stuck by me though I still suck. Image and tag / photo manipulations / tutorials all that kind of stuff as almost completely vanished. f**k you very much Instagram.

I remember people like Surenix or CLMT who were starting Image/Design forums on Invisionfree then Zeta. It was a power craze and the things that came out of some of us were to this day still inspiring, some of the designs and themes those two and others created were beyond what I thought was possible. I still have Forum Skin Mockups for some old "regular" places most of us visited and the skill to do today wouldn't be far matched. I know with the loss of a lot of image hosts that we can't see some of these anymore, but the few I have save make me glad I got to be apart of that time.

We've all literally have gone through so many iterations of so many things (consoles, phones, software, hardware, whatever) that it is so hard to keep up, but just as hard to keep up with the people you met. I'm glad I did, and even if I can't remember you all, even if we hardly ever talked, whether I know your real name or anything like that. I'm glad it happened :)

/Yeah I'm still a male, sorry to disappoint!
