Any recs for canopy/shade that will also work on the beach?

Just been getting into car camping with the fam. We are headed to a beach house for a week and need to get something for shade. Was looking at square canopies, sail type ones, etc. Realized what I get might also work when need some shade or rain cover camping. Any ideas? Not worried about weight, more about being affordable and durable. Thanks!
