Wolrd of Warcraft Expansion Releasing December 7th

Earlier today, in France, Blizzard stated in a press release that World of Warcraft's newest expansion named Cateclysm will be released on December 7th for both Windows and Mac systems at $50 as a digital download or DVD-ROM. A Collector's Edition will be sold with bonus items for ~$100 at the same time.

"Cataclysm includes the best content we've ever created for World of Warcraft. It’s not just an expansion, but a re-creation of much of the original Azeroth, complete with epic new high-level adventures for current players and a redesigned leveling experience for those just starting out," said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. "With the help of our beta testers, we're putting on the final polish, and we look forward to welcoming gamers around the world to enjoy it in just a couple of months."

Both of the latest expansions The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King had record breaking sales. I'm sure Cataclysm will sell just as well.

Everyone I know quit after wrath, because the game sucked after that, they kept changing too much.

Yea, I quit after wrath so I doubt I'll pour money even more money in to this when I can spend it on games like black ops, medal of honor, and AC bortherhood. My buddy that I always played it with has picked up the game again so I might if I just have extra cash but until then yea :/

To me, it always seems like once a new release is released, everyone buys it and a few people get back into WoW and those people are the ones that beg people who left to come back, and they do. I never played WoW, but believe me, I know what it can do to people. :'( Lol.

Well I for one started agian because of Cata.

if you read up on it its basically like vanilla WoW. and a new game.
