Wikipedia wrote:An oscilloscope (sometimes abbreviated CRO, for cathode-ray oscilloscope, or commonly just scope or O-scope) is a piece of electronic test equipment that allows signal voltages to be viewed, usually as a two-dimensional graph of one or more electrical potential differences (vertical axis) plotted as a function of time or of some other voltage (horizontal axis).

Wow. Its a thinga mic jig. Ok it measures voltages on a 2-d graph.... I think all those knobs are really uncalled for. They sure have some a long way since back then...

Well folks, welcome to DarkPacMan77's control center. These images are somewhat large so that you guys can see/ read more of the game titles. Anywho, I'll try to list what is seen in each picture. There's a lot of stuff in this post, so idc if you read what I have to say or simply look at the pictures. My laptop is the focal point. I'll add the specs for it in the bottom of this post for those of you that are interested.

Image

This is just the zoomed out shot. I had to stand on my bed on the other side of my room up against the wall just to fit it all into the picture. I have a small room, but still...

Image

Ok, starting with the stuff you see on the floor.

1. Sega Master System
2. Playstation 2 (it's really 2 models of PS2 - I took two broken PS2 units and made one working one ;) )
3. Sega Dreamcast
4. Playstation 1 w/ neat Offspring skull sticker on it lol
5. Atari 2600 - hell yea baby
6. Nintendo 64 (one of the special ones, idk, got it in a pawn shop)
7. Full Sega (Sega Genesis - 32X - Sega CD)
8. Nintendo 64 games w/ Perfect Dark & Diddy Kong Racing showing - great games!
9. Various controllers
10. Two Sega Dreamcast VMU's
11. Case full of Sega Genesis games and also my Intec PSP case.
12. In the back right on the floor you will see my Logitech sub-woofer for my computer (sounds AWESOME)
13. Inside the chest is where I normally store most of this stuff. But there's still cords and controllers for the SMS and Atari and Genesis in there as well as a chess board.

Image

Now for the stuff in/on my computer desk. I'll start at the bottom and work my way up.

1. Two PSP units w/ idk how many UMD's lying there.
2. Three Dreamcast controllers
3. My Gamecube w/ 2 controllers
4. My old Dell Dimension 4500s (right)
5. My new laptop. It's my pride and joy currently. I'll add the specs to the bottom of this post.
6. On the left you can barely make out my Logitech USB controller and Coby headphones - great purchases btw!
7. You can see my other speakers that goto my sub-woofer. It's a 5.1 home stereo system just hooked up to the lappy.
8. On the shelf above my computers, starting from left to right, you'll first see a picture of my girlfriend (aww, I'm so sweet). Next is a clay sculpture of "Vivi", the black mage from the Final Fantasy series. I made it in art my freshman year and I'm out of high school now so he's kinda special. Other than that there's various little items like some dice with letters that I've arranged to say "sex" as well as a Mario head, some "jesus bracelets" (idk what else to call them) and behind that stuff is most of my DVD collection. To the right of that stuff I have two shot glasses that get quite a bit of use as well as the most of my CD collection.... phew... still with me?

Image

Now for the top. First of all, I put a small shelf unit on top of my desk. That's not actually connected. This is mainly for game storage since it is up and out of the way.

1. The bottom shelf has Sega Genesis/ SMS game cases as well as some of my Pacman collectibles (pacmania joke book - pacman yoyo - Atari 2600 Pacman game ;) - what got me started in video games as a child ;) )
2. Above my center speaker to my Logitech speakers, I have an old cigar box with games in it. You can't really see, but I have some PS1 titles as well as my Dreamcast collection in there - some Sega CD as well.
3. On the top shelf I have some of my PC games (monopoly tycoon, matrix path of neo, gta III, Disciples II, Roller Coaster Tycoon II w/ expansion packs, Morrowind, GTA San Andreas.
4. Next to those you see my "solid eye" from Metal Gear Acid 2 as well as some miscelaneous cd cases/ games/ DVD's - who knows. In the back is my mint condition Sega CD game of "Sonic CD" - awesome game.
5. On the right I have some bottlerockets sitting up there on top (keep in mind those are illegal here).
6. The smaller black "boxes" that I have games in are stored pretty much by what system they are for. The top left is PSP, top right is PS1, bottom left is PS2, and bottom right is Gamecube.
7. You'll also see my "Smith & Wesson" buck knife that I've posted briefly about before (about carrying it on me).
8. Lastly, nestled safely under my knife, you may or may not see what may or may not be a multicolored glass smoking device designed for the habitual and recreational hobby of smoking marijuana... or maybe tobacco... or maybe not.

I got a lot more stuff, but that's pretty much the stuff that I'm proud about.

LAPTOP SPECS

It's a laptop by the brand, "EVEREX". The brand may not be familiar to you guys. Anyways, it was a steal for how great it is. It has a dual-core processor (AMD Turion 64 X2 w/ 1.6ghz on each core @ 3.12ghz overall). It came with 1gb of ram but I've upgraded to 2gb of ram. The ram is ddr2 533mhz @ 4-4-4-8 timings - runs Vista like a charm. The monitor is a 17" with a max resolution of 1440 x 900 w/ diamondbrite technology. There is a built in microphone as well as a 4 & 1 card reader. It has a 100gb hard drive. Perhaps the focal point of the laptop is the graphics card, though. It's running a Nvidia 7600 go graphics card with 256mb of dedicated memory (not turbocaching from my 2gb of system memory) and it plays just about any game on the market - certainly any that I currently own. Morrowind and San Andreas are a joke to this thing (San Andreas loads in about 7 seconds). I guess the only other major component is that the optical drive is a dual layer DVD burner.

It's completely smurfin.

Yea. My brother took the 3DO when he moved out, otherwise I'd have that in here as well. I didn't think to grab my gameboy color, but I also have one of those as well as a Game Gear.

I figured I'd finally gather up the most of my stuff and put it in one place for a picture.

I can probably say I've hacked about 85 % of the systems there. My motto is; If it's technology, it can be hacked. (c)

that and never die without living (c)...
