First off, I'm not going to name these in any particular order 1-5 because that's simply too hard. And I'm not 100% positive on my choices, but here they are.

Pacman - Any Pacman games except for the sh**ty one(s?) on Sega Genesis where you walk left/ right and use a slingshot... terrible, terrible game.
Zelda Twilight Princess - Gamecube (don't want to play Wii version) - I would say Zelda OOT, but Nintendo made a great addition this time around
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 - Genesis - Probably my favorite of them, but all are close calls.
Perfect Dark - N64
Capcom VS SNK Millenium Fight 2000 - Sega Dreamcast ;)

Also, about picking older games. Yes, they are too great games. Without them, nothing newer would have ever been made, and I'm glad to have fueled the truly great gaming scene of my youth. Atari, Nintendo, Sega... that's what gaming is to me. Sony and Microsoft seem to care less about the people and more about the money. That's just my opinion, of course.

Galaga (original arcade version)
(that's about it--rest of the games are just okay to pass the time).

Oh I know I can only have five games but I love all zelda games mostly Zelda OoT.

Also old games are better because well they are better, the company's made the game for us to play, the new games, that company's make are just for them to make money not for us to enjoy.

I think part of it is because when we are younger, we are more easily pleased. It doesn't take much to make you happy when you are young. But still Games like Super Mario 64, Super Smash Bros, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time are all old games but are still classics and great games. And FF7 as well. I'd play any of those games over any new game except for maybe a few. The gameplay and story of those games are phenomenal!

Spyro the Dragon - PS1. I just finished it 120% on my PSP
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance - GBA. Great game.
Time Splitters: Future Perfect - PS2. Me and my friends play it all the time.
All Guitar Heros - Awesome games.
Gears of War - 360. Great to play with friends, in the dark, with high powered surround sound system and a 50 inch TV.

What game isn't great to play with friends, in the dark, with a high powered surround sound system and a 50 inch tv? - might I ask? Pacman would be divinely amazing ;)

Spyro was one of the first games I put on my psp once I customized it, it is a great game :).

Another game I used to play a long time ago was Double Dragon and Double Dragon II on the NES. I played that with my friends.. man that game was awesome!
