Ok this is simple. This is how I do it:
Make your design. Go to emboss options. Go to stroke and make it black. And make it Inside and not outside. Save it for web. Open it again, Put another white stroke Inside.
Save for web again. Now put one last stroke of black and your done! Its that simple!

I wonder if it would be cool to make this thread an official Help thread for all kinds of "newbie" questions about Photoshop CS2? If yes, here is my first question.

How do I add another picture image to a banner I have created on PS CS2?

I am not sure how to answer your question Jay-Jay, but I was wondering how PSPortableV2 adds that diagonal almost transparent lines throught the whole signature. He told me something with brushes, but I couldn't figure it out. Could someone expain it to me?

I did this before, but i only did it ONCE, then i forgot how and then i had to reformat my computer so my CS2 is gone. But if i can recall, i remember there being and actuall button that you can click that says "border" on it. Im using AP 6.0 right now. I dont think i have that option.

how do you guys make the cool looking flame backgrounds and stuff?, do you just get a picture off the internet to make your signatures, then add stuff into it?

most of the time we take the background pic from the internet and modify it. Cause making an abstract BG takes a long time to do. Since the internet has billions of pictures available, might as well just click and save rather than making it. As for that flame BG that mailas has, its probaly from the internet as well.

With those almost transparent lines in the background, is there a brushpack you need to download for them?
