Border Tutorial Request

Can someone make a tutorial on how to make cool looking borders?

I would like a tutorial on something like this border:

tech boarder... real easy.... lemme find a tutorial for u...

I thought we had a tech boarder tut, if not, I will gladly make one...

I have another question: how do you make straight lines? my lines arent straight on my border it it looks really crappy

polygon lasso tool... and hold shift for either a 180, 90, and 45 degree angle...

How can i get a cool looking border? Mine is one solid color and doesnt look that great

YEah that text is SICK!!!!, but its probably just a font with a bunch of layer styles on it.
