Totally new to psp brewing

Hello everyone,

I am new to hacking the psp, so forgive me if I come across as ignorant so here goes. I have a PSP Phat and I want to downgrade it so I can use home brewed apps. What do I need to do to downgrade and where can I pick up the downgrade firmware.

Sorry I forgot to tell you what model psp I have it says psp-1001 and my firmware is 5.0.2

To begin the downgrading process, you'll first need to acquire a Pandroa's Battery, and a Magic Memory Stick.
