Introducing myself...

Hi Everyone

I just joined PSPBREW Forum with the motivation to understand the PSP hardware / firmware deeper and contribute back to the community in terms of developing new stuff to make PSP do more fun stuff.

My background is in software development and I used to hack around 10 years ago :) So its been a while and I am thinking of getting into hacking business on PSP again just for fun. Enterprise software development is getting a bit boring after all those years.

So, what I am looking for is a starter. Like the construction of the firmware, flashing it and the possibility to put something completely different on it like any *nix port or whatever just to explore the possibilites of what can be done with this piece of hardware.

Thats all for now, I will reading a lot as starters on PSP and start contributing as soon as I am able to do that!

Peace.
Logic is the basis of computer science. Use of common sense and the ability to think out of the box are the key to successfully accomplish your next project.

I am back. I've been gone for awhile. School, work and then the real life, yes, it is a hastle.
I know there's been words going on about this and that but this is a new "fresh" start. What can you say? Let's start over?
If you guys were wondering where I've been, here's a short story: I closed down Sanctuary Graphics because IFSZ(invisionfree skin zone) claimed that I've ripped some of their images etc. but what the hey. I didn't want to start conflict so then I just gave up. I haven't been on a forum in 4-5 months and well, now I am back and hopefully I can make an impact.

PS. If any of you were wondering, I still do graphics, but I am not good at it anymore. I will look at tutorials now and hopefully can make good stuff again.

sanctuary comics... do you live in Northern new york by any chance?

I didnt see it, but hes prolly acting like a mod or something, but he has a point, they shouldn't make a post in his topic, they should not be lazy and just make their own topic.

1) it might have been deleted with the database roll.
2) we all still have to be nice to new people (thats how forums grow).

no they should've been smart enough to make their own topic, cause everyone that
joins here knows they can do that.

I was being nice to him/her monkeymaximus. It's just he posted on my post so I just told him that it was ok and that I'd let him, I don't mind at all. But who deleted my post? Oh well, it's all good. Welcome to PSPbrew again.
