Well as long as it's not a TA, a 2.71 can use a SONY update as means of downgrading. Therfore, chances are pretty much limited to human error alone (ie turning your psp off in the middle of "update"). By the way anarchist58 is someone I personally know from school, I told him to come here for anything PSP, and of course, I could probably just downgrade his PSP in person.

Hey, I had a 1.50 version psp, I accidentally upgraded it to 2.71 SE-A and I am no longer able to play my homebrew games using devhook 0.46. I tried to downgrade back to 1.50. I do not have the TA-082 motherboard so I used the other downgrading software. I downloaded to 2.71 FULL version and i followed all the instructions. I received a red screen and i waited for 2 minutes after my psp turned off. I turned my psp back on and it did not show me the error msg. It basically went back to the menu and it was highlighted on the "GAME" folder. Can somebody please help. I'm not that good with psp's and I would just like to downgrade my psp back so I could play my iso games again :S.

Thanks!

This one wont work if you have a TA-082
