Ah, I didn't see asddasit's response before I posted in the general section regarding this. Seems like asddasit is the way to go.

You should look on our front page. We have links to the 1.50 kernel add-on for 3.72 HX-1. If you install that add-on, you will have the ability to use homebrew again ;) - just make sure to activate the 1.50 kernel in recovery mode. If you don't know how to do that, all you do is turn the PSP all the way off, and then hold the R-trigger while you turn it on. Then goto the "configuation" section and change the "homebrew folder" to the 1.50 kernel.

If you want to downgrade, you could use this, but you don't have to downgrade to enjoy homebrew.

yea i know there is a addon but it says When you have installed the firmware 3.71 m33 and the kernel addon download this file so i did have 3.71 m33 on there before but since i have the hx-1 it will not work so i would have to downgrade to m33 then up and then get the addon

I got my stick 2 minutes ago and now am unbricked. Now I am off to try the slim...wish me luck. And Thank You so much asddasit.

EDIT:
Now my slim is at 3.71 M33 also. Just a side note though. When i used this on the slim no menu showed up with the directions of which buuton to press. I already knew X would install CFW so I did this. None of the text showed up on the screen while it was flashing the files either. So I just waited for the lights to quit blinking but then the PSP just shut down. So I put my original battery in and booted and low and behold it was now on CFW...so again thank you so very much and I am not sure what happened to the text on the slim but it worked...yay.

So, I did this. I downgraded last night to 1.5 using lumines. After which I tried a homebrew app, CoD2 and it caused my psp to brick. I used this to unbrick. My PSP now works, and is now 3.71 M33-2. I can use the pandora app but thats it. I cannot use my emulators. Can somebody address this please?
