USB to mini ><

so when i got my psp back in the day i had a diff comp..and all was kool. But now with my laptop when i plug in the Usb-to-mini it dosent work right.
Does anyone else have tis problem..i use the Pelican(sp) usb to mini.
Sometimes i plug it in, and bam it pops up and works and all is smooth.
Other times it(my comp) makes the chyme that it pluged in but nothing.. on my comp psp is the E drive..and nothing.

If anyone uses the same brand and has this problem and has resloved this wack issue, plz tell >.> it pi$$es me off when i need to swap mp3s and games..and it takes an hour to get the dam thing to work for 5min T.T

I was using a pelican and it was working fine for me. Maybe it's the memory stick itself. This is really wierd...

-Of else, you could go out and get a USB for cheap?

-That's the best way to go man, I don't have anyother way...Sorry man.

it is really odd. thats why i ticks me off

Some times it works and i can do w/e i need with files... then i might unplug to go play the game i downloaded or take my psp with me to listen to the mp3s
come back replug
and it might take and hour if i dont flip out and turn my comp off to get it to accept thats it pluged into my comp....

sometimes comps tick me off... case of metal and wires...it knows i know that it can be smarter then me :?

that pelican cord is a pos, i had the same 1 for like three months when i went to plug my psp into my comp it said something about a usb error, but when i used my $10 psp usb cord it worked like normal, so its ur cord, its crap. Buy a $10 one, the last thing u went is for a connection failure when ur backing up ur saved games and ur mem stick goes blank.

my friend has the same cord and it also had that problem
