If you go to an apple store and show them a valid student ID card most of their first party hardware is discounted.

Dont be fooled by the samll size. yes its smaller than the 20g but not that much. get the 20g for 299. us dollars. the nano ipod does not even come with an AC charger you can only charge if you have a computer. the AC adapter is 29.99 plus you can have all your music all the time and still have room if you put pics on it. 2 or 4 gig is a cool companion to a 20g+ ipod. i have an ipod since the first generation 5 gig. i know have 20g ipod photo and 4 gig mini.

yea, well, here the ipod mini is 259 or something like that and its a big hit, every1 has one. And here comes the ipod nano, and its cheaper (249) and VERY THIN! It about the width of an HB pencil, and has colour dislplay. So guess what people are gonna buy. hehe. I dont find it necessary to store photos on a small screen like that. I use my psp tp store photos (bigger screen, better display, more colours) This is a maybe, if i were to buy one. Im planning on getting 2 PDA's today, so i dunno yet.
