ive got version like 6.3 i think model 2001. i wanna downgrade with out usin the pandora battery.

I'm very sure that you will have to since your firmware is above 6.2... I'm sorry. Unless someone tells me that I'm wrong.

well... so far, so long as the PSP responds to the pandora.. its doable.




and buddy, the pandora is by far the best way. why wouldnt you want to use one?

It matters on your model to be honest. If it's pandora compatible, then you're golden. Just get a Pandora and an MMS. There currently isn't a purely software method to hack a PSP on that high of a firmware.

If it's not pandora compatible, then you still might be in luck. There is currently a Kernel exploit being worked on for 6.20, but has been said to work on 6.30 as well. If they make a version for 6.30, you may have access to homebrew and eventually ISOs. I can't guarantee any of this though, as the maker has only confirmed a 6.20 release.
