1) How the hell do u install the cutsom 1.50 firmware?

To install the custom 1.50 firmware(well you dont really install it) you just use the mph firmware launcher.

psphacking101.com has a great pack for it, and it works great.. download it from there..

Ok ive gotton 2.5 and that custum firmware to work although its notas great as they say it is but heres how u install it:
So first of all the root of your memory stick sholud look like this
mso:(psp,fw)These are the 2 folders that should be there and then 1 file named (psp_ipl) which is a bin file, you also need a config file which it should come with.
Now inside of the folder called fw there will be a few folders the first of which will be for you 1.5, click on that and there will should be three folders flash0, flash1, and ipl.
Now in the ipl folder is the psp_ipl bin file which goes in the root. Once the file is in the root then you are done with that folder. There are 5 folders in the flash 0 folder which
should be data,dic,font,kd,vsh and i think for the 1.5 custum theyare already setup like that so dont mess with them just make sure that they all correct. Then the flash1 folder which is the
trickyiest to get but it is really the most simple folder and comes with the firm ware launcher so just make a folder named flash1 where the flash0 folder is and put the 3 folders that are
dic,regestry,and vsh dont mess with anything in them and thats done. Put the 2 fw launcher folders in the game folder and thats done. Now go back to the root and take the mphfl config file not from
the one that came with the custum 1.5 fw but with your firmware luauncher (im using the 1.37u5) this is how it should look

Use_old_structure = 0 ; set to 1 to use old file system (placed in memory card root)

;LogFile = "ms0:/mphfl_driver.log" ; Logfile, erase variable or value for no create logfile.

Just copy and paste that to the mphfl config file notepad or whatever it comes up in.

Now run the firmware launcher and click the one that says the old way and it should take you to the custum fw screen. Good luck if you have a problem let me know and i should be able to tell you what went wrong.
