Now dont flame me, i din make that rule... seems that some ppl had weird problems otherwise... maybe we can string it from the ceiling so it touches nothing

Anyone with any bit of common sense would know enough not to place a ventelated powersupply with an internal fan on a carpet, thus blocking the ventilation holes. NO console should be placed in a closed narrow stereo cabinet (nor should a decent stereo for that matter, and external powersupplies are not ment to be stuffed in the back of a cabinet amongst other powersupplies and jumbles of wires.

Yes, but you need to pay and they will be downloaded to your system memory, or you can pay and rent them off a nintendo thing on the Revolution...

psicryptor wrote:hey dana could you tell me just how exactly location free works... Ive 2.01 so...
Location or mostly known as "Region" are divided up into parts of the world (continent)
for example North America is one format region NTSC. European is another region PAL, each system (PSP, DVD player etc.) have its own region code, that can only play in that specific region.
therefore location free means that the product can be viewd/played on any system around the world.

And a 9xDVD (like that in the 360) is faster than a 1 or 2x blue ray so it won't matter much. From what Ive been reading the blue rays advantages wont even be seen in the games, its just a way to get Sony's new media format out there in greater numbers than Toshiba's

actually, 2X blu ray discs are faster than 360's 9X discs. And that was proven fact. Just google it. But theres not much of a difference in speed either way. But more and more studios are licsening blu ray because it has a really solid securtiy encryption. So there will be no pirating on blu ray which equals more profit for the distrubuter. While data on HD DVD can be burned into other dvd's which equals really pissed distributers.
And the 360 uses HDDVD, and yet, it cant even playback HD movies!!!! ironic huh?

The 360 uses 9x DVD disks although Microsoft has announced plans to release an external HDDVD drive ad-on for movie watching only in an attempt to say "see we have HD too". I've also read that the games might not be in blue ray format and that the blue ray format in the PS3 is more for movies than anything else.
