do you want the memory or the bulk

So there's a 4 gb hard drive that i think is a rip off..it costs a lot and it is just plain huge and ugly..and to use it comfortably you have to have the battery extension. it's a riip off. and besides there's gonna be a memory stick duo thats that big.

yeah but it has alot of space so at least its avaliable....

yeah and then theres the 8gb... actuallu the datel drive drains power itself and so the battery pack included isnt all that of an added benefit... sigh... hope 8gb cards will sell for $100 each... those will be the days

besides the hard drive sticking out, there isn't any diff with it and the mem stick result wise though right? i mean there are no huge advantages of having a 4g mem stick as opposed to a hard drive is there, besides the obvious bulkiness. if so let me know, because i was actually considering the hard drive.

yah but when it came out it was like woah a 4gig but u know how many isos i would have on that.

oh plz the memory stick is WAYAYYYAYAYYA YYY faster than the drive, consumes next to nothing of power and is super compact... isnt tat reason enough... i mean the drive whirrs loud enough, has a strip wire in the side (look in pics), adds bulk, makes the psp heavy, definitely heats up... MAn, if you can afford it just go for a mem stick. I mean mem stic 2gb costs bout $100 now so make that $200 for 4gb... only advantage in the drive is the battery back but youu'll be paying $260 (around) for that bulky mess...

Hard drive platters spin so they suck battery life, and platters/heads crash sooner or later. Data transfer is slower on a HD, and a memory stick has no moving parts. If they were the same price I'd go with the flash memory. Why do you think ipod nanos use flash memory instead of hard drives? Cost, battery life, size

Can some one post some pics of this hard drive and stuff? I haven't seen, or heard of this before so i'm kind of in the dark.

Lol thats so stupid... That wouldn't even fit into my pocket (and i could prolly fit 3 psp's in my pocket) I think i'll just wait for the 4gb's to come.
