Help!!

ok my computer got a virus a while back and i had to restart it and when i did every thing was back as it was when i first got it everything i had on it was completely gone and my quesyion is "is there a way to get it all back" please help!

go through ur hdd for any temporary files that still might be their... otherwise i just dont know

If you reformatted your computer, then you cannot get it back.. It is all deleted..

jt if that virus is still on there then download Ad Aware SE Personal and update it that pretty much helped me.

not unless you have drive image... recovering is very difficult...
I suggest (only if unrecoverable) reformat and reload everything from scratch!
I know it hurts man, ive done this before...

You say that you set back your PC like the way it was the first time you had it... so I guess you formatted the hard drive and loaded windows again with all the bundled crap they usually come with.
Sorry to say that everything is lost. Unless you constantly backed up your files and settings on a second hard drive for safety reasons.
For the record, what virus was it?
